Decking design and build ยท Newcastle
Your deck, designed before it's built.
We start with how you want to use the garden on a summer evening, draw the deck so you can see it, and only then build it, in timber or composite.
- Measured design visit
- Concept drawing before you commit
- Timber or composite, advised on merit
Why design first
A deck is a room. It's worth planning like one.
Where does the evening sun land? Do you want a dining level and somewhere softer to sit? How many steps down to the lawn, and where should the light fall when it gets dark?
Those questions shape a deck far more than the boards do. So we answer them first, on paper, and agree the design with you before a single post goes in.

The process
From first visit to first evening outside
- I
Design visit
We measure the space, check levels and talk about how you'll use it.
- II
Concept drawing
A drawing of your deck, its levels, steps, seating and lighting.
- III
Agree and price
Tweak it until it's right. Then one price for the build.
- IV
Build and handover
A vetted crew builds exactly what was signed off.
Timber or composite
We'll tell you which suits your garden
Timber
Natural, warm, classic
Treated softwood has a warmth nothing else quite matches. It asks for a clean and a coat of treatment every year or two to stay at its best.
Composite
Low upkeep, stays looking new
No staining, no splinters and very little looking after. A favourite for shady and family gardens.
Ideas
Evenings worth staying out for
